Alondra Biberos was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in Twin Falls, Idaho. She received her Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in Sculpture and Ceramics from the University of Idaho in 2019. She Currently resides in Worcester, MA and works as a studio artist, instructor, and social media manager at the Worcester Center for Crafts.
Alondra’s work focuses on the interplay of clay and wordplay. She draws her inspiration from people, animals, and nature in her daily life. Her ideas are driven by humor, puns, and figures of speech. Alondra’s larger sculptures focus on diffusing areas of tension in her mental health and relationships with humor. She also enjoys challenging physical limits of ceramics by exploring weight suspension, scale, and balance in her pieces.
